Side-by-side massage is an ideal way to spend time with a friend or loved one. Here are a few tips to ensure that you make the most of this special experience.
Prepare your space for massage tables. Clear some space in your house for two massage tables.
You have your choice of having the tables in the same area or in separate rooms if space is an issue. A living or family room on the first floor is ideal space for your session. Each table requires a 6 x 9 space.
Begin your relaxation prior to your appointment. Allow yourself and your loved one at least an hour to unwind together before your massages. Set the mood with candles. Have your robes ready to slip into after a hot bath or shower. Let us know in advance if you have any music preferences or if you prefer to play your own music.
Turn off the world. Switch your cell phones and home phone ringers off. Reconnect and strengthen bonds with those you love.
First time client interview. New clients can expect to fill out a brief form prior to your massage. I can also send out forms prior to our visit if your session is booked far enough in advance.
Allow integration time after your massage. Drink plenty of water after your massage, relax and give yourselves some time before jumping back in to the world. Take care of yourselves and allow the relaxation effect to last.
